Seeking God

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.” Psalms 9:10 NIV

‭‭ Ok, who’s with me on this one?? We know that God is with us, He has never forsaken us. I love that and the comfort it brings to us. BUT what about the end of this verse, “those who seek you”? 

My children are grown and independent adults. However, should one of them seek me they know I am just a call away. If you’re like me, there is never a time when your phone rings and you see one of your children’s names pop up on the screen that it doesn’t make your heart leap with joy. How then can we think that our Heavenly Father doesn’t have such joy when we call upon Him. How long has it been since you had a really good conversation with Him, just call, He’s waiting for your name to pop up on that screen! 💕
