Shining Light

I love lighthouses. I love taking pictures of lighthouses. I have many from different places we have traveled. I am intrigued by the different shapes and sizes of each one, like they have their own personality.

However they were built for a purpose. Each has a lamp on the inside to make navigational aid for the sailors at sea during darkness or a storm.

We too have a light  that shines from within. Jesus is our light and it is through Him we can find our way through any darkness we may be facing. Just as the sailors had faith and trusted in those lighthouses to guide them safely ashore, we can put our faith and trust in Jesus. His love will reach out…piercing through the darkness of any storm.
